Nanogentech Ltd is a UK engineering company, founded in 2016, pioneering the development of ultrafine bubble technology for water oxygenation and associated applications.

The company has a core, interdisciplinary team with over 100 years of cumulative experience in diverse backgrounds, including engineering, business development, entrepreneurship, marketing and finance.
NGT has developed nanobubbles technology to speed up the catalytic reactions to degrade the organic dye elements in wastewater and improve the COD and BOD of the treated water. The technology saves up to 80% of the energy consumption of aerating wastewater.

Role in the project:

NGT will lead the development of the nanobubble component of the Waste2Fresh prototype systems in WPs 4&6 and support all other WPs.

Relevant Projects:

  1. NanoGenTech were awarded a Phase 1 Seal of Excellence for their 2017 proposal to the SME call H2020-SMEINST-1-2016-2017 entitled “An innovative nano-bubble technique for environmentally- and cost-effective water purification”.
  2. NGT were awarded a Phase 2 Seal of Excellence in 2019 for An innovative ultra-fine bubble generating system for sustainable, energy saving and cost-effective water aeration, submitted under the Horizon 2020’s SME instrument phase 2 call H2020-EIC-SMEInst-2018-2020 (H2020-SMEInst-2018-2020-2) of 5 June 2019 in the area of EIC-SMEInst-2018-2020.
